The ultimate team endurance event

The 3 stages

Assemble a team of four participants, and at least one support crew. Whether you choose to walk with friends, family, or colleagues, register today and make 2024 the year you become Trailwalker strong!

Train and fundraise

Trailwalker is a monumental team challenge that requires mental and physical preparation, but don’t worry – we’ll support you all the way through our Facebook community and comprehensive guides. Alongside training, fundraising is a fantastic team building activity!

Take part

After registering in-person on Friday, you and your team will set off early the next morning. Along the 100km route, there are 9 manned checkpoints where you’ll meet your support crew. The trail ends at Brighton Racecourse, where you’ll receive your medal and tuck into a delicious Gurkha curry!

Have you considered volunteering?

If you’re not ready to take on the 100km of Trailwalker but still want to be involved, why not volunteer?  Soak up the incredible atmosphere and spend time with serving members of the Brigade of Gurkhas.  Join us for the whole weekend, or help out for a few hours at a location that suits you!

An event like no other

The spirit of teamwork is at the heart of Trailwalker. The event originated as a Gurkha Training Exercise, and to this day, military teams take part alongside civilians. Serving members of the Gurkha Brigade are there to cheer you on at each Checkpoint, making it a truly unique challenge.

Trailwalker teams fundraise for The Gurkha Welfare Trust. We provide vital support to Gurkha veterans, their families and communities in Nepal, enabling them to live with dignity.

Our team of dedicated staff journey into the hills of Nepal to deliver essential financial and medical aid to our most vulnerable pensioners. They also work with local communities to provide access to clean water and education.
